Oshiwambo gives an introduction to the Oshiwambo language and the meaning of the words used in the BKDS’ Omazimo Series as well as their pronunciation.  Oshiwambo is the native language of the Awambo people. They are divided in eight ethnic tribes including the Ngandjerians – from where Nduka and Kanzingona derived – the Kwaluudhi, the Kwayamas, the Ndongas, the Kolonkahi, the Mbalanhus, the Kwambi and the Mbadjas. Although, their dialects differ, and thus a  difference in their pronunciation they all understand one another. One of the differing factor is also their culture and traditions.
